To ensure a perfect fit for your zebra blinds, follow these step-by-step measuring instructions. Please use a steel measuring tape for accuracy and measure in inches or centimeters as required.
How To Install Zebra Curtains?
1. Inside Mount (Fitting Within the Window Frame)
Width: Measure the exact width of the window opening at three points (top, middle, and bottom). Use the narrowest measurement to ensure the blind fits perfectly inside the frame. Deduct ¼ - ½ inches from the width for proper clearance and smooth operation.
Height: Measure the height of the window opening at three points (left, middle, and right). Use the longest measurement for snug fit.
2. Outside Mount (Installed outside the window frame to cover the entire opening)
Width: Measure the width of the area you want to cover. Add 2-3 inches on each side to ensure sufficient coverage and light blockage.
Height: Measure the height of the area you want to cover. Add 2-3 inches above and below the window frame for better coverage.
